Making fun of Sabah

Sabah called me and laughed at the pregnant picture. So I told her I found picture of a pregnant woman doing yoga as non-pregnant woman does... i just have to say WAAAAAAAAAAAW... really waw... I will just be glad if I got pregnant I can walk 2 meters lol ... ;)  .. And then we talked about flat stomachs... ITS A MUST... so we joked around a little bit and this is what we talked about hihihi


After talking to Sabah on the cellphone,,, I realised I needed to help her  =)



Workout at Work!

My friend and I were speaking about exercises at work.. So I showed her some stuff I do when NOONE sees... NOONE.... I look to funny doing the exercises lol ... anyway .. So she told I should put it on the blog.. I made a funny remark and said: Well i can put it on youtube with a niqab (cover my fasce) and wearing ordinary jeans and shirt hihihIhIhIhihi anyway it sounded more fun in the moment. =)

here are some exercises U can do at work ;) If I can... you definetly CAN!


What to blog about today!

Sobhanllah, my energy level is from scale 1-10 ... 0.9  tihi ...
Well Well... yeah, now I know what to talk about.. PREGNANT WOMAN and  EXERCISES. Many of my friends are pregnant and they complain about they are fat and round and I don't know what.. Well... SUPRISE you are pregnant, the weight you gain is often water and depending of what you eat -fat. Anyway... so I want to facebook status for these woman to change from I am fat to .. I am exhausted ;) hihi



My lovely friends... here are some advice...
1. Eat healthy for two, but think you are eating for ONE
2. Only eat small amounts of the unhealthy cravings you have
3. Take a 30 min walk each day
4. Move you but a little
5. Do some exercises
6. STOP COMPLAIN ABOUT BEING FAT... BE HAPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPY! =)

Here is some good information I found on the net about dates, sobhanallah

Health benefits: Dates provide several essential nutrients such as calcium, fiber, amino acids, sulfur, iron, manganese, magnesium, phosphorous, copper, potassium and fats to the body. They are wonderful sources of dietary fiber and are rich in vitamins A1, B1, B2, B3 and B5.
Assists Digestion: Dates consist of 20 different kinds of amino acids which facilitate the digestive process. This is why dates are easily digestible and furnish the body with required energy for physical activities in about half an hour. Moreover, consuming dates on fasting days before breaking the fast helps avoid overeating after the fast. The factor responsible for human hunger is shortage of sugar in the blood. Consumption of dates, not only pacifies the feeling of hunger with its sugar content, but also all of its nutritional value is absorbed by the body. This prevents people from overeating after a day of fasting.

Treats Anemia: Dates have a high content of iron in them, which makes them great home remedies for reducing iron deficiency. Anemia patients are advised to eat several dates on a daily basis to raise their level of iron in the blood. (ooooooooooh something for us with Anemia / järnbrist)
Strengthens Tooth Enamel: Dates contain fluorine, which is an essential mineral to slow down the process of early tooth decay. Fluorine is also known to keep plaque at bay by strengthening the tooth enamel. However, many people are of the misconception that tooth enamel can magically reverse tooth decay. This is not true. Tooth enamel consists of hydroxyapatites, which when brought in contact with fluorine forms hydroxyfluoroapatites, which is resistant to decay. This clearly means that fluorine helps prevent further tooth decay, but cannot reverse the decay process.

Alleviates Constipation: Dates also possess laxative properties, and are suitable for people suffering from constipation. In order to get the benefits of laxative properties of dates, one should soak dates overnight in water. The soaked dates should then be ingested in the morning along with the water to gain the actual advantages. The roughage provided by dates increases bowel movement, thereby solving constipation issues.
Energy Booster: Dates are power packed with 29 grams of natural sugars (glucose, sucrose and fructose), 3 grams of dietary fiber and 31 grams of carbohydrates. Therefore, the tiny date fruit can be appropriately described as an energy boosting dry fruit.

Dates also enrich the mother's milk by providing it with nutrients beneficial for the baby's health. In a nutshell, date fruit is an ideal food source responsible for furnishing essential nutrients, helps food digestion and is an energy provider.

Salam Aleykum

What does the word "Salam Aleykum" السلام عليكم means? 

Many people associate the meaning Salam Aleykum as an terror meaning. I noticed sometimes when I answer my cellphone with salam aleykum, I see how people freeze. Or when I see my friends and say saalaaaam aleykum, they jump up like they have seen a ghost... Well COME ON, It's a PHRASE that means Peace be upon you. I'll repeat Peace..Be..Upon..You... See it's not a terror word... It's an islamic greeting. 


Salam = Peace, Peace and still Peace

And for us MUSLIMS..... Did you know there are a couple of hadiths about islamic greeting... Well some people are ignoring it. This is something to all muslims, specially here in Sweden.. When YOU greet another muslim, You do it for ALLAHs sake. Even if you don't like the other person... YOU GREET... If  you guys can greet non-muslim you don't like with a fake smile and HIIIIII (with a high cheerleader tone), then you can greet another muslim with the same fake tone, for Allah's sake. (Allah = God)

"When a greeting is offered you, answer it with an even better greeting, or (at least) with its like. God keeps count of all things." [Surah an-Nur; 4: 86]


Actually this happened to me a few days ago: 


The following Hadit:. Umar (radiAllahu anhu) reports that he was riding with Abu Bakr (radiAllahu anhu) on one mount. When they passed by people, Abu Bakr (radiAllahu anhu) greeted them saying: 'Assalamu alaikum' and they replied: 'Wa alaikum assalam wa rahmatu Allah.' Or he may greet them saying: 'Assalamu alaikum wa rahmatu Allah,' for which their reply was: 'Wa alaikum assalam wa rahmatu Allah wa barakatuh.' Abu Bakr (radiAllahu anhu) commented: "Today, people have gained much more than us."   [Sahih al-Bukhari in Al-Adab Al-Mufrad]

Iphone 4 rescue

My iPhone 4 DIED, yes folks it DIED!! I waited 7 whole days for a miracle,but noooooooo, it seems to be a hardware problem. So if you don't want to change your simcard, there is something called "SIMCARD ADAPTER" ... cool stuff ;) ... It worked for me =)

Hijab, Veil, Sjal

Many wonders why we have hijab, and a few says that Hijab is not mentioned in the Quran. Well good news people.. it is mentioned.. But, it's not mentioned how it should look like, BUT again, it mentions what to COVER!  By the way.. I am not writing this to get a dialogue about the existence of the hijab and so on.. Am writing down a FACT.. As many, I am tired of hearing it's not in the Quran.. Listen man/lady if you don't wanna wear it -fine by me.. But WE who WANTS to wear it ...LEAVE US ALONE.. stop nagging about it. We love it, like it, breath it ;) It is in our bloodsystem, and I don't belive that the hijab will make me less as a human beeing or as a woman.. incontrare it highes us UP... Why so .. Well you have to deal with our brain and personalities and not the  looks ;)  Wohooo!




“O Prophet, tell your wives and your daughters and the women of the believers to draw their cloaks close round them (when they go abroad). That will be better, so that they may be recognised and not annoyed. Allah is ever Forgiving, Merciful.” [Quran 33:59]





So, it means, we should cover ourselves...We cover our hair, ears, neck and bosom...  There are more verses in the Quran, but I think you guys should read the Quran by yourself =) .... Start from chapter One ... and if you are lazy read chapter 7 , chapter 24 and chapter 33.


Bloodmobile!!!

Salam Aleykum and Hi... I think donating blood is a good thing, and if you can donate your blood do it. It is a good deed and you help others, and Allah will help you when you need help =) .. Anyway, some of us are not allowed to donate because we have anemia :P ... however we can help in other ways... we'll cook some good food for the donaters instead ;) ... Always aime for good deeds people ...

Stupid question I've recived during my years ... LAUGH

I was thinking of writing it down as an dialogue, but then I though NO, I draw it down ;) ...

Arabic woman

Something that strict me was when you sit with arabic woman all are kind of miracle doctors =) ... Try this... next time you sit with arabic woman and say "Oh, my stomach hurts, they will first ask you private stuff, and then it comes.... in 20-30 min you will hear what kind of pills you should take, or herbs, or miracle drinks... the best part is IT WORKS ;) lol


So her is a tip from my Mother-in-law:


She told me that that Pure Vitamin E-oil is a rockstar of healing scars. You just put it on the scars and with some patience it will be healed or it wont look like an ugly scar. It works even for strech marks and if you are pregnant you may use it while you are pregnant. I tried to find it in Sweden, but you can find it everywhere else. I bought mine from Canada and I like it :D 


By the way, it wont work in one night, you need to have patience!!

Desserts

I have to be honest... I am up to be healthy, so I walk on stairs, walk outside sometimes and when I am not lazy I go to the gym once a year :P .. anyway .. Desserts is something I just can not stop with, not because I love it, its because I make desserts better then food lol ... The diffrence between food and desserts is YOU KNOW HOW A DESSERT SHOULD TASTE LIKE.. so it's easier hihi ... 


I like the swedish site www.recepten.se, she have very good recipes and with pictures... here is one of the recipes I have tried and like.
A  frozen cheesecake like an ice cream cake, easy to make and it can be prepared days before you serve it. 


Time: 30 min, in the frezzer approx 5 hours


Ingredients:
3 eggs
1.5 cups granulated sugar
2 teaspoons vanilla
200 g cream cheese
3 cups whipping cream
10 digestive biscuits (I used a whole digestive biscuits and put som butter in it)
ev. 1 x lemon
or about 0.5 teaspoons lemon flavoring, and about 3 tablespoons juice of pressed lemons

Fruits are good for you

Fruit, today I shall talk about Apples =)



I don't know about you guys, but I forget to eat fruit, or when I do, my first choice is never an apple... So I read about it a little and though OOhHhh my Allah, I need to tell this to my friends and blogers. Especially for us who likes food that burns fat, burns, burns burns the fat :D 



"We're told that an apple a day keeps the doctor away", but what exactly are the health benefits of apples? Here are three reasons why YOU and ME should eat apples :D 

Bone Protection
(something almost all arabs I know needs)

French researchers found that a flavanoid called phloridzin that is found only in apples may protect post-menopausal women from osteoporosis and may also increase bone density. Boron, another ingredient in apples, also strengthens bones. *yeeeeeeey*


Lower Cholesterol
(Something to think about)



The pectin in apples lowers LDL ("bad") cholesterol. People who eat two apples per day may lower their cholesterol by as much as 16 percent.

Weight Loss
(And the most important part for us woman)



A Brazilian study found that women who ate three apples or pears per day lost more weight while dieting than women who did not eat fruit while dieting.


ps: But you should work out, not just eat apples and think all fat burns away... You will lose muscle mass and that is not good. The body needs working out, even if you just walk for 30 min each day it gives you a healthier body and you burn fat, and you protect your muscles.

And one apple is enough, there is plenty off healthy fruits in the world and ALL of them have good effects to your body ;)
